Every spot is graded Beginner to Advanced, with what to expect there.

Maps that work with no signal

Download your area free before you go. The map keeps working with zero signal.

If something goes wrong

If anyone is hurt, call 999 first (9999 in Oman). If it is only the car, the app walks you through getting yourself out, then opens WhatsApp with your GPS position ready to send to a volunteer rescue team. That needs mobile data. OffroadPal is not an emergency service.

App questions

Is OffroadPal free?

Yes. The map, beginner spots near you, your first offline area, the location-sharing button, convoy mode and the skill tiers are all free. There is an optional Pro tier for drivers who want more. You never have to pay to take your first desert drive.

Does it work without phone signal?

Yes. Download your area while you still have signal. Then the map, your spots and your own position keep working offline. Seeing your convoy mates still needs a network.

Which phones does it work on?

OffroadPal is free on iPhone and Android — download it from the App Store or Google Play.

Does it work outside the UAE?

Mostly the UAE, plus a growing set of spots in Oman. Every spot has a skill grade, from Beginner to Advanced.
